Upstream: The main focus of SiliconCantera. Our experience is especially strong in the servicesing of the SubSea, Downhole, and Offshore markets. This includes all levels of managers, engineers, and designers in SubSea/Downhole Equipment design and manufacturing, Sub Sea field design, Offshore facilities/structures (both fixed and floating), field engineer, integrity and corrosion, and Project Management.

Mid/Downstream: SiliconCantera has experience in many areas of servicesing for petrochemical and process plants. This includes chemical/process engineers, instrumentation, and facility management. The midstream consists of both onshore and offshore pipeline engineers such as pipeline design, installation, management, and integrity/corrosion.

Exploration/Production: Our experience in finding services level and above candidates has been in multiple areas including Geologists, Geophysicists, Petrophysicists, Reservoir Engineers, and Geotechs. Founder of Cantera Systems before the merger that created SiliconCantera. John graduated from Rice University with a BA in Architecture. After working in the retail industry, John entered recruiting in 1997.

Applications Development: We have experience in many areas and levels of servicesing within the development arena. Everything from Java based developers and architects to all of the latest Microsoft Technologies.

Database Development/DBA: Experience in finding candidates with both Oracle and SQL Server database development along with adminstration experience.

Network Infrastructure: We have experience with candidates who have the experience in network design and administration. Most candidates have experience with the latest Windows and Cisco products.

Engineering/Construction: We have extensive Experience with many levels of construction. This includes planning/scheduling, along with cost control and project management.

Accounting/Finance: All levels ranging from AP Clerks, to Controllers. This includes, but is not limited GL and Revenue Accounting along with Oil and Gas Accounting/Financing.

Sales/Business Development: We have worked in both the technology and Oil and Gas industries finding all levels of sales candidates. Everything from entry level, to senior level producers, to Sales management positions.
